Jason Richardson and Amare Stoudemire are known for their fired-up no nonsense approach and hopefully nothing explodes between them.

Steve Nash on his part has showed some remorse in parting with his best friend Raja Bell. All of this comes with the job but apparently he is having a hard time adjusting for now.

The Phoenix Suns are vulnerable without their all-star point guard. Imagine who would call out the plays, dish those dazzling assists and score when needed. The absence of Steve Nash was evident but leave it to Shaq and Amare to step it up.

Amare Stoudemire

Why he’s the MVP: Have you watched him over the past month?  Since Shaq got to Phoenix this man has become the most feared big man on the offensive end.  He gets to the hoop when he wants, dunks on anyone who tries to guard him, steps back and hits an 18-footer if he’s left open and even has learned how to pass in the paint.  He also tries on the defensive end of the floor now, which is more then we could say before Shaq arrived.

d in typical Shaq fashion, ripped the net off on a dunk attempt, causing a nine minute delay.  Amare Stoudemire added another page to his MVP resume scoring 33 points on 12-15 shooting and pulling down 15 boards.

39;s top performer two years in a row. 

One Sun who has come on strong as of late though is Amare Stoudemire.  Ever since the All-Star break, and even more so since the deal was finalized for Shaquille O'neal, Amare has been playing like a man possessed, trying to will his team to a championship.
