We have seen that through the years and that is why perhaps Steve Nash is one of the premier and most sought after point guards in the NBA today. But before he can weave his magic, he needs to get healthy as his absence is severely hurting the Suns’ cause, the last of which was a road loss to the New Jersey Nets, 104-91.

the Suns are sort of struggling with suspensions and of course adjusting to new coach Terry Porter. Steve Nash has slowed down a bit and the only bright spot is really Amare Stoudemire.

Barely two play dates ago, we saw Suns guard Steve Nash and forward Matt Barnes serve their respective suspensions for that rough Houston incident. Shaquille O’ Neal was involved in that incident but was meted a fine for trying to defend his teammates.

The Suns’ Steve Nash and Matt Barnes were suspended for their involvement in a fracas in their last game against Houston where they lost. Adding further to their woes was the absence of Leandro Barbosa who had to fly home due to his mother’s death.

aturday night the Suns defeated the Nets 110-104.  Not exactly an impressive victory, but with Steve Nash a bit hobbled, suffering from shoulder spasms, the Phoenix big men kept the Suns afloat, and lead them to a much needed win, as every win seems necessary at this pivotal point in the season.
